Cuero Gobblers

Since 1970, The Cuero Gobblers football team has played in 16 state semifinals, and 10 state championship games, winning 3 state titles. The South Central Texas town of just 6,000 people embraces the Gobblers' tradition, including a 44-game winning streak under legendary head coach William "Buster" Gilbreth. "Buster" guided Cuero to 4 state title games in 6 years.
